Food Pantries

No one should go hungry

Community Connection supplies food to dozens of food pantries in the Northeast Oregon region through our Regional Food Bank. We also offer our own food pantries at select locations. Food pantries offer fresh, shelf-stable groceries to support individuals and families in need. All Oregon food pantries are open to everyone – inclusive of all races, gender expressions, religions, and immigration statuses.

What is a food pantry?

A food pantry is a community resource that distributes food and grocery products to people in need. They are usually supplied with food from a local food bank, but may also receive donations from grocery stores, local farmers, and food drives.

How much food can I have?

Eligible participants are typically given around 3-5 days worth of food for their family size. Each food pantry has it’s own rules about how often a family can receive a food box, to ensure there is enough food for everyone.

Please note that as per the program guidelines, individuals will need to fill out a small form to give their name, address, family size, and to agree they are eligible for this program.

How can I donate to this program?

This program wouldn’t exist without donations, so we really appreciate any one willing to contribute to feeding our community. Give your local Community Center a call for details.
