The Riveria Activity Center (RAC) is located at 2609 Second Street, La Grande. Previously an elementary school, the Riveria was almost demolished. But, Union County, Community Connection, and Grande Ronde Association for Youth (GRAY) have adopted a mission to rescue this historic building:
To preserve and develop Riveria into a county-wide, multi-functional community resource supporting educational and recreational activities for children and adults.
The gymnasium, kitchen, field, and rear classrooms are available for rent. Check rates below.
(Daily rate is for 10 hours. Additional hours are purchased at the hourly rate.)
NOTE: If serving alcohol, a $1,200.00 damage deposit, a licensed server from Bud Jacksons, Side A Brewing, or Benchwarmers, and proof of one day liability insurance (equal to $1,000,000.00) listing Union County, Community Connection of Northeast Oregon, Inc. and GRAY as additional insureds is required.
