Statewide Shelter Program (SSP) Application

Apply for Statewide Shelter Program Funding

Community Connection of Northeast Oregon (CCNO) is accepting applications from shelter providers in Baker, Grant, Union, and Wallowa counties for state grant funding to help support shelter operations from July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027. Up to $148,548 is available and may be awarded to one organization or shared among several, depending on applications received and regional need.

This grant is designed to help existing shelters keep their doors open and continue serving people experiencing homelessness in our communities. To be eligible, your organization must already have shelter beds or spaces up and running. This funding is not for starting a new shelter, but for sustaining the capacity that already exists. Eligible shelter types include overnight shelters, housing-focused shelters, domestic violence shelters, and inclement weather shelters, among others. Services funded through this grant must be provided at no cost to participants.

Applications must be submitted using the form below by 5:00 p.m. on June 12, 2026. Only applications submitted through this page will be processed. Applicants who are selected will be notified by approximately June 26, 2026. For questions about the application process, please contact Rebekah Martin at rebekah@ccno.org or (541) 963-3186.
